Vice Directors Meet

The Cherupushpa Mission League Unit Vice Directors Meet will be conducted on 7 June 2008 at Barmariam Pastoral centre Sreepuram , Kannur . Mar Joseph Pandarasseril the Auxiliary Bishop of Kottayam will inaugurate the programme precided over by the Regional President. Rev. Fr. Paul Valloppally the Director of CML Thalassery Archdiocese will lead the seminar and other sessions will be handled by Rev.Fr. Pathrose Champakkara and Mr. Saji Mulavanal the Regional Director and General Organizer respectively.

State Managing Commitee

The Cherupushpa Mission League Kerala State Managing Commitee will be held at Chaithanya Pastoral Centre , Thellakom , Kottayam.

A Small Seed from Bharananganam

Cherupushpa Mission League was inaugurated on 3 October 1947 at Bharananganam , Kottayam by Mar Thomas Tharayil, then the Auxiliary Bishop of Kottayam. In the beginning this organisation consisted of only 7 members , but now it has become the largest Laymen Mission Association in the Asia continent. It is spread in 17 Catholic dioceses in Kerala and has 6 lakh members .
Kannur Region started functioning as an independent wing in the Archeparchy of Kottayam on 9 October 1981. Now this region consists of 34 Units in 4 Zones. It has representation in the State Commitee also.

Cherupushpa Mission League Kannur Region is a part of CML State commitee belongs to the Archeparchy of Kottayam, consisting of 4 Zones , namely Rajapuram, Madampam , Perikkalloor and Palakkadu
There are 34 units in this region and about 2200 members. The main aims of Cherupushpa Mission League are nurturing Vocation and promoting Personality development.Any Catholic who had his / her first Holy Communion can becom a member in this Organization. The CML is helping the Mission Works all over the world through Prayer , Contribution and Vocation. There are 31 Catholic Bishops in India who were the members of this Organization.
